How long will my divorce take?
By Texas law, a divorce must be on file for 60 days. We guarantee your divorce will be on file within 10 days of receiving your payment and all your revisions- or your money back! Most of our clients have final divorce decrees in hand within 70-90 days.
Will an actual attorney be handling my case?
YES! After payment is received you will get a call or a zoom meeting with one of our experienced family law attorneys. The will walk you through what you are agreeing to and what is reasonable in the eyes of a Texas Family Court applying The Texas Family Code and relevant juris prudence.
Will my decree be all standard stuff?
What if I want to change something in my order?
Does my spouse or the child’s other parent need to be present for the meeting?
The other party DOES NOT have to be on the phone call or video meeting with your attorney. It’s important to have the other parties wishes written down for your first phone call with the attorney.
How does the money back guarantee work?
Our motto is simple: EASY. Part of this process being easy, is it being QUICK. We guarantee your divorce will be on file in your county within 10 days of hiring us and receiving your necessary information, or we give you your money back to find another attorney.
Does your law firm handle complicated divorces?
What other types of law does your firm handle?
Because of our vast network of attorneys across Texas, we are able to handle almost any type of legal case either in house or connect you with a trusted attorney in our network. For more information about other cases we handle, visit www.thewernerlawgroup.com.
Can I modify my decree after it’s finalized?
We can help you modify an order you’ve done through us or that you’ve done through another attorney’s office. Just call our office at 855-880-EASY to see pricing options.
Do you bill hourly?
For our complicated cases, yes, we bill hourly. But with anyone who comes to EasyTexasDivorce.com for an uncontested, agreed divorce, modification, or child support order- we charge FLAT FEES! Which means you always know what you’ll be paying from start to finish- just another way we make it EASY!
What if I change my mind?
We allow a 24-hour period after payment is received where people can change their mind, but after that, we will have performed substantial work on your case, and as such cannot offer a refund after 24 hours.
Are you open on the weekends?
We have staff that works seven days a week until 8pm central time. However, our attorneys only do consults during normal business hours 9am-5:30pm Monday through Friday. Which means, if you want to get the ball rolling on your process outside of normal business hours, we have in-house staff that is ready to answer your questions.
